(WTNH)- When parents begins a new relationship post divorce, separation, or death of a spouse there are a number of factors that parents need to be cognizant of.
Dr. Ryan Loss with Connecticut Behavioral health, came to Good Morning Connecticut Saturday to talk about how communication is key and it is best for the children that are involved.
Loss said a new partner should be introduced to children when the relationship progresses to a serious place. Loss says it is advisable that the parent who plans to introduce a new person to their children, that they also have a conversation with their ex-spouse, (if they are living) that an introduction will be made to someone new.
