One Michigan couple’s pregnancy announcement was ruined after Meijer photo lab employees shared their pictures before the planned surprise on Christmas Day.
Jordan Areaux and her boyfriend Masyn Lehl had taken special photographs at a Christmas tree farm holding a chalkboard that read: ‘Dear Santa, July 2017’.
Areaux, 23, was excited to reveal news of the first grandchild in the family during the holidays and took the pictures to be developed at the Meijer in Plainwell.
She had planned to get the photos printed so she could wrap them up like Christmas gifts, which she knew would be extra special for one sick relative.
‘My grandma actually has cancer, so we were going to kind of surprise her,’ Areaux told WWMT.
But that precious moment was ruined when some employees at the lab took pictures of her developed photographs and began spreading them around the small town.
