In a room full of people listening to a speaker talking about mental health needs, the question could first be asked, has anyone been touched by mental illness including suicide, depression, overactive children, alcohol or drug addiction, domestic violence, criminal activity — and the list goes on.
Most people don’t talk about family or friend mental health issues but the result of poor coping skills, stress and even overeating are signs of mental disorders. The causes may vary, but the results are the same — poor mental health.
